Fieldwork and reporting of the results was undertaken under contract by the Heritage Network. The excavations revealed evidence for medieval ploughing, a number of undated possible boundary features, and a number of irregular pits which have been interpreted as tree throws. One of these contained a single abraded sherd of Romano-British pottery. Fragments of burnt flint, which were noted across the site, are believed to result from modern stubble burning.
